The Maitres Cuisiniers de France make their debut at “In French with English Subtitles,” an event to raise funds for families in need.

In December, 2009, In French with English Subtitles presented nine films, all very recent productions and new releases. All films were New York Premières, some were US Premières, others were International Premières!

For the first time, through the medium of cinema, this even acted as a fundraisng event in which all the proceeds went directly to a charity! In French with English subtitles is the first festival presented by l’Entraide Française, (www.entraidefrancaisenyc.com), a not‐for profit organization comprising a volunteer team that brings assistance to French citizens residing in the US who experience serious and unforeseeable difficulties and helps them to overcome these distressing moments.
